The Tramsmusée in Luxembourg takes you on a fascinating journey through the history of public transport. It displays restored streetcars and buses, 1:8 scale models and has an extensive exhibition area. It all started in the 1960s, when streetcars were in danger of disappearing. The museum created accurate scale models and collected uniforms, tickets and more to tell the mobility history of Luxembourg. Today, the museum has operational streetcars, streetcar engines, replicas of horse-drawn streetcars, buses and catenary maintenance vehicles. It's a great place for technical information and nostalgia.
